ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Eligibility requirements for admission in Bachelor of Studies in Medical Technology (BS MT)

BS Medical Technology is a four year semester based program. Admissions are announced once a year. Candidate with minimum 45% marks in Pre-Medical and Medical Technology group from recognized board /authority are encouraged to apply.

 

A Level applicant is required to produce IBCC equivalence for enrollment in the program.

Merit is the prime criteria for selection i.e.:

• SSC marks
• HSSC marks
• Interview marks

 

Assessment policies and procedure

Enrolled candidates are assessed and examined for theory and skills with periodic examinations. Continuous assessment is practiced incorporating multiple summative and formative assessments to measure the extent to which students have achieved the desire outcome. It includes continuous assessments, projects, portfolios, clinical practicum and competencies.

Weightage for the final examination

• Attendance* 10%
• Continuous assessments 40%
• Final Examination 50%

Admission Fee = 15,000
Lab Coat Expense = 5,000
Student Fund = 3,000
Academic Transport = 40,000
Tuition Fee  = 171,600
Examination Fee = 18,000

*Will be charged as per ongoing conditions of semester studies that are currently affected by COVID -19

Note: Any additional taxes imposed by the government will be the liability of the students/parents/guardian.

The University reserves the right to increase the fees if required according to the recommendation of the Governing Body.

Advance fees to be paid semester-wise. All dues need to be cleared within two weeks of commencement of the academic year. 2% surcharge per month will be levied on outstanding fees after the due date.
